Mercialys is committed to tackling all forms of discrimination and building stronger levels of engagement among its employees
Mercialys promotes gender equality in the workplace, particularly for management-level positions. Highlighting this, women make up 43% of its managers and 42% of the members of its Board of Directors in 2016.
Gender equality cannot be ensured without equal pay for men and women. To help achieve this, average pay rises are automatically applied for women when they are on maternity leave.
In its 2016 league table for the female representation on the executive bodies of SBF 120 companies, the Company was ranked 6th by the French Ministry of Women’s Rights and won the prize for best female representation of the top 100.
Mercialys contributes directly towards employment for disabled people by working with companies from the disability-support sector for various services at its centers (particularly garden area maintenance and center cleaning services).
To help employees effectively reconcile their work and home lives, an information booklet on parenting, drawn up in partnership with the Observatoire de la Parentalité en Entreprise, is made available to them. It provides information on the various types of leave entitlements relating to parenting, in addition to presenting Mercialys’ actions in this area.
