New retailers and groundbreaking concepts rolled out in Mercialys malls

Two new restaurant chains are setting up in our malls: Lucien & la Cocotte and McDonald’s Originals.

The Lucien & la Cocotte concept, initially developed in Lyon, has opened its third restaurant at La caserne de Bonne in Grenoble, offering a menu with the best chicken-based recipes from around the world. In Brest, McDonald’s has inaugurated its first-ever “Originals” in France, the restaurant chain’s very latest concept, serving iconic McDonald’s products.

In the beauty sector, the Turkish cosmetics brand Flormar is opening one of its first stores in France in the Annemasse mall. Until now, the retailer had developed a few corner sections. This dedicated sales outlet will be developed over 60 sq.m.

In Angoulême, fans of connected devices have been able to enjoy their own dedicated store since March 15. Indeed, Fnac has chosen the Angoulême Champnier shopping mall to introduce its all-new Fnac Connect concept, focused exclusively on connected devices and phones, inspired by its flagship store on the Champs-Elysées in Paris. Over 85 sq.m, products are available in self-service mode with demonstration models so customers can discover the various devices and get to know their features.

Lastly, in the fashion sector, the Spanish retailer Cuplé has chosen to open its first-ever store in France in the Belles Feuilles shopping center in Paris’ 16th arrondissement. With 90 sq.m of space, the brand promises fashionable and affordable shoes, leather goods and accessories. Modetic, the fair trade eco fashion specialist, Lolë, the women’s sports clothing brand, and Spartoo are all opening stores at the La Caserne de Bonne center.

In line with the strategy to diversify and further strengthen our offering, the opening of these new stores confirms our portfolio’s appeal for innovative retailers, from new firms to established brands.
